Sliding snow doesn't go around a chimney — it slams into it, tearing flashing, cracking crowns and ripping caps off the masonry every winter. The VentSaver Extreme Chimney Snow Protector is the heavy-duty guard built for exactly that: a clear, impact-grade polycarbonate wedge mounted just uphill of the chimney to split the snow slab and steer it safely around both sides.
What the VentSaver Extreme does
On a sloped metal roof, snow releases in one heavy slab — and a chimney sitting in its path takes the full hit. The VentSaver Extreme is the largest, strongest guard in the VentSaver line, sized to shield wide masonry and prefab chimneys in deep-snow country. Its clear polycarbonate body deflects moving snow and ice to either side and all but disappears against the roof.
