Turn two SSRA1 seam anchors into a level, non-penetrating walkboard on a steep standing seam roof. Each SSRA2 roof jack adapter bolts onto an SSRA1 anchor and carries one end of a full-thickness 2x10 plank, so your crew gets solid footing for repairs, service and inspections without a single hole in the panels.

Why crews use SSRA2 roof jack adapters on standing seam roofs

• Mounts on top of an SSRA1 anchor with a two-bolt connection — no extra brackets, no penetrations
• Adjusts for roof pitch from 6/12 to 12/12 and seam heights from 1" to 3" to give a level walking surface

How the SSRA2 walkboard system goes together

Set two SSRA1 anchors (without D-rings) in a straight, level line no more than 8 feet apart. Bolt one SSRA2 onto each anchor, lay a full-thickness 2x10 plank across the brackets so it runs 6" to 12" past each end, and screw the plank down through the face of each bracket with 2" #10 wood screws. For runs over 10 feet, add another SSRA2 every 8 feet. One worker per board, plus up to 40 lb of materials. Full instructions ship with the product.

A platform support, not a fall arrest anchor. The manufacturer is clear that the roof brackets are not designed or tested as fall protection. Tie off separately — an SSRA1 with D-ring, full body harness and lanyard or SRL — whenever you're on the roof. Inspect every part before each use, and don't use the system on wet, icy or frozen roofs.
