Canada Snow Guards · Genuine SnoBlox-Snojax
The SnoBar Double Bar is the heavy-snow specification: two galvanized rails on every clamp, capturing both the base snow layer and the upper snowfield. It's the system we spec for snowbelt regions, long rafter runs and commercial standing seam roofs — and because the stainless clamps grip the seam with nylon-tipped set screws, it goes on with zero panel penetrations and zero risk to your panel warranty.
A single rail anchors the snowfield at the eave zone, and for most residential roofs that's enough. But when the ground snow load climbs and rafter runs stretch past 7.5 m (25 ft), the pack above the rail gets deep enough to shear over a single bar. The second rail catches that upper layer — two lines of defence on every clamp.
Stainless seam clamps bite the vertical seam with nylon-tipped set screws — gripping without piercing, exactly like our SSRA anchors and SataMounts. The panel's finish and weathertightness warranties stay intact, and the system fits roughly 95% of Canadian standing seam profiles. Bulb and T-seams take the RCB-3 kit instead.
