Canada Snow Guards · Genuine SnoBlox-Snojax
The ColorBar Double Bar is our heaviest standing seam rail in colour-matched aluminum: two 6061-T6 bars on every clamp, holding both the base snow layer and the upper snowfield. Stainless seam clamps grip the seam with nylon-tipped set screws — no panel penetrations, no sealants, no risk to your panel warranty — and the aluminum bar disappears into the roofline instead of reading as an add-on.

Mix and match: every snow bar and rail in your cart counts toward the same quantity break.
Every ColorBar rail is 6061-T6 aluminum — the structural temper, not soft extrusion stock. It will not rust at cut ends or fastener contact points, it stays dimensionally stable through Canadian freeze–thaw cycling, and it is light enough that a long commercial run does not fight you on the roof. Aluminum against an aluminum or coated-steel panel also avoids the galvanic mismatch you get when bare steel sits on a finished roof.
A single rail anchors the snowfield at the eave and on most residential roofs that is enough. Once the ground snow load climbs and rafter runs stretch past 7.5 m (25 ft), the pack above the rail gets deep enough to shear over a single bar. The second rail catches that upper layer — two lines of defence on every clamp, which is why this is the spec for snowbelt regions and commercial roofs.
Stainless seam clamps bite the vertical seam with nylon-tipped set screws, gripping without piercing — the same principle as our SSRA anchors and SataMounts. The panel's finish and weathertightness warranties stay intact, and the system fits roughly 95% of Canadian standing seam profiles. Bulb and T-seams take the RCB-3 kit instead. For an exposed-fastener roof, use the Screw Down ColorBar.
Select 12″, 16″, 18″ or 24″ above to match your panel's seam-to-seam dimension. The spacing determines how many clamps carry each 1.8 m (6 ft) section — tighter seams mean more clamps and more holding capacity per run. If you are not sure what you have, send us a photo of the seam and a tape measure across two seams and we will confirm it.
