The IceJax I is a compact, clear polycarbonate snow guard built on the proven patented Snojax II design. Think of it as the miniature version of the IceJax II: same interchangeable flat-or-rib mounting concept and same virgin polycarbonate construction, in a smaller footprint sized for tighter panel layouts and lighter-duty retention. It mounts on flat areas as narrow as 3 inches or flips to straddle a small minor rib, and carries an ATI-reported screw-mounted value of 4,200 lbs. This listing is for the guard only. Screws, adhesive, and sealant are sold separately.
Canada-based supply • No cross-border duty surprises • Product guidance available for roof panel fit, spacing, and layout direction
The IceJax I solves a problem a lot of buyers run into: they want the IceJax II design and material, but their panel does not have the wider flat area a larger guard needs, or the job simply does not call for a heavy-duty guard on every clip. The IceJax I keeps the same interchangeable flat-or-rib concept and the same UV-stabilized virgin polycarbonate, just in a smaller body that fits tighter panels and lighter-duty layouts.
For Canadian metal roofing projects, fit matters as much as raw strength. A guard that actually seats on the panel flat, sheds water cleanly, and is sized for the spacing you are running will outperform an oversized guard that was never meant for that panel. The IceJax I is built to fit the common 36-inch panels with three 12-inch flats or four 9-inch flats, plus standing seam panels with at least a 3-inch flat mounting area.

A smaller guard that actually fits the flat is better than forcing an oversized one.
Right-sized retention for everyday roofs without overbuilding every clip.
A practical choice for standing seam where screws are not an option.
Both share the same design family, material, and reversible mounting concept. The difference is size and load, so the right pick comes down to your panel flat and how demanding the snow zone is.
